February 2012 SRT DATES, TIMES, AND SPEAKERS
ACM Care's Senior Resource Teams are voluntary, multidisciplinary, geographically specific team of community members and service providers who work together to address the problems of seniors and disabled adults. The goal of the SRT is to explore individual and relevant group issues and initiate solutions in ways that provide continuity, coordination, and effectiveness. Each team is independently managed by local leadership volunteer(s). ACM Care emails the monthly reminder and speaker schedule to the membership. Membership and attendance is open to anyone-no RSVP needed. If you are interested in presenting a related topic at the meetings, please contact the local leader at the next scheduled meeting.

Monday, February (unconfirmed). The Kirkwood site meets at at 1333 West Lockwood (NW corner of Lockwood and Berry in Kirkwood) in room 307 every third Monday 9-11 am. The Site leader can be contacted at KirkwoodSRT@acmcare.org.
Tuesday, February 21. The City Site meets at Tower Grove Manor Apts on Grand Ave, St Louis 63104, every third Tuesday 9-11 am. Guest speaker will be Sheila Holm (Associate State Director Community Outreach) on some exciting new programs with the AARP. Wednesday, February 22 AT 3PM: Jennings Site will meet at St. Jane Center 8454 Glen Echo Drive, Bel-Nor, MO 63121.: NOTE: THIS IS A DIFFERENT TIME AND LOCATION THAN NORMALLY. Speaker will be Mary Shands (Information and Assistance Coordinator from the St. Louis Area Agency on Aging) on the many services provided to city residents and how they can access them The Site leader can be contacted at JenningsSRT@acmcare.org

Wednesday, February 22: The Lemay site meets at Feed My People at 171 Kingston Rd 63125 every fourth Wednesday 1-3 pm. The speaker will be Steve Miskovic (Memory Care Home Solutions) on dementia and innovative care methods. The Site leader can be contacted at LemaySRT@acmcare.org
Thursday, February 23: University City Site NOW MEETS AT THE BRENTMOOR AT 8600 Delmar, 12th floor, 63124 every fourth Thursday 9-11 am. The speaker will be Phil Heckman on universal home modifications to keep seniors safe at home. The Site leader can be contacted at UniversityCitySRT@acmcare.org
